Widgetbucks – a BIG scam

Hello! Today is the day when I want to tell you my opinion on widgetbucks, the so called ad serving agency.

I wrote a post last month where I said that widgetbucks can be an alternative to adsense, just because they pay very good (40-50 cents/click). This is probably the only reason for people to sign-up with widgetbucks (read my first post here).

So here I am again, writing about widgetbucks, this time in a bad way. They are a scam, and will not pay you a cent, even if your earnings are there, listed on their website.

How can I sustain my words? Simple! What ad serving agency allows users to register on their services, us users / international users, ANYONE, never mentioning anything on their TOS, and then “out of the blue” comes a new TOS rule where non-english websites are not allowed to place their ads on the websites. Simple as that, they ban a lot of people with a lot of money earned (from 100 $ to over 1 k $).

And they changed their TOS WITHOUT informing anyone, without mass-emailing every registered users to let them know “hey, guys we changed our TOS, please take a look and see if you still comply with our TOS, Thank you!”. No ! they just did the change and then ban the users. Looks to me like a well planed plan before launching :)

They have no customer support lines, no one is answering your questions, you can call them but you will only get a robot answering at any moment you call 24/24.

What to say more? You can think I’m doing this because I was also banned, but no, I’ve lost only 120 $ and over 15 affiliates. That’s nothing comparing to others :)
